Out of Hours
Extended Access
Pre-booked appointments are available on a Wednesday evening from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
- They are bookable in advance through reception.
These are also ideal for people who work or cannot get to the surgery during normal working hours.
Temporary change
There will be a temporary change to the Extended Access clinics during December.
- From Wednesday 24th December to Monday 22nd December
- From Wednesday 31st December to Monday 29th December
Clinics will resume as normal on Wednesday evenings from January 2026.
Your Local Pharmacist
Your local pharmacist will be able to give you free health advice at any time – you don’t need an appointment. Many pharmacies operate extended hours on a rota basis. Call NHS 111 for details.
Life Threatening
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
Urgent But Not Life Threatening
Visit an urgent care centre if:
- You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention
Non-urgent
Use NHS 111 if:
- You need help now, but it’s not an emergency
There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary.
